Winnipeg, Canada – Aero Recip’s Tracey Gregorash was truly humbled by her family’s business success as the world’s economy shifts from pre-2020 conditions to a constantly changing market, and the experienced General Manager was quick to pay it forward. “We’re really pleased with our progress. We wanted to convert our good fortune into what matters to our customers. With lead times becoming such a big issue we looked for ways to help. If we could increase our capacity we knew our customers could get back in the air more quickly.”
And help they did, the company investing in additional staff, space and software.
- Staff – Additional staff were hired and training programs introduced
- Space – A raised, steel platform was built to create extra space for engines as customer engines are received, disassembled, and cataloged
- Software – Operations software was integrated to better manage company processes, to track staff inputs, and to assess data expediently in real time
Aero Recip isn’t the only company recognizing its commitment to decrease lead times. According to Aero Recip customer Stephen Meyers of Keystone Aerial Surveys, “During the past few years, it’s no secret that the supply chain has created some unique challenges for everyone in the aviation industry. While these investments are key to Aero Recip’s recent success, it’s the overall philosophy of Founder Alvin Gregorash that has brought the company to a point in its history where 2023 marks 35 years in business. “Dad always says that first and foremost, people buy from people,” says Gregorash. “This is the core of who we are.
