AERO RECIP P&W R985 ENGINE THEORY & MAINTENANCE TRAINING SESSION
March 14, 2019 at Anchorage, AK – FAA Rep To Renew IA Cards On Site
Winnipeg, Canada – In light of increased demand for IA Renewals, Aero Recip is stepping up to meet the demand for card renewals by offering their FAA approved IA Refresher, R985 Engine Theory & Maintenance Training.
As in previous Aero Recip training sessions, this session will be facilitated by Aero Recip Technical Advisor Wayne Cathers, and will feature a multi-media, two-way exchange between Aero Recip and session attendees, with Cathers focusing on P&W R985 engine theory and maintenance accompanied with real world experiences. Takeaways for each participant include a R985 Technical Theory & Maintenance Certificate, a handout featuring material covered in the presentation with excerpts from the P&W R985 Overhaul Manual, and a first hand look at the intricacies of a Running Cutaway R985 Engine.
Aero Recip P&W R985 training sessions are eligible for credit toward Inspection Authorization Refreshers. An FAA Representative will be present to renew IA cards after the session is concluded. “The demand for this session was unexpected and came at short notice. We’re happy to respond,” says Aero Recip General Manager, Tracey Gregorash. “People from the field share P&W techniques that ultimately make us all better at what we do and what we want to achieve.”
