Winnipeg, Canada – After making an announcement at the May, 2023 Great Alaska Aviation Gathering regarding its upcoming training session, Aero Recip is excited to share more details. The sessions will be held over a three-day period. “The success of our radial engine training sessions has created a lot of demand for opposed engine training. We’re really excited to add a full day to the program. Regardless of engine type, our technicians bring years of experience to share.”

Aero Recip’s piston engine training sessions help engineers and pilots increase their knowledge of piston engines. These multi-media sessions are interactive with hands-on training provided through on-site running cutaway engines including the Lycoming TIO 540, the Continental IO 520, and the Pratt & Whitney R985. For Gregorash, the training sessions also present an opportunity to build solutions collaboratively with engineers and pilots in the field. “There are so many twists and turns to the challenges we face. We’re so much stronger when we put our heads together.“
With the majority of training schools focused primarily on turbine engines, Aero Recip sees the opportunity to help by enhancing its proven format. “We’ve invited an experienced maintenance expert to talk about operating procedures which will add a new perspective. We’re also excited to offer these sessions online through streaming to anyone interested from anywhere in the world. We’ll share tricks of the trade through a live Q&A. This a knowledge exchange for people committed to piston engines.”
