Aero Recip Assembles & Tests Engine For Danchini Aero PA-18 Super Cub Raffle Plane
Happy To Support This Year’s Alaska Airmen’s Association Charity Fundraiser
Winnipeg, Canada – As Danchini Aero releases its completed experimental aircraft at this year’s Great Alaska Aviation Gathering, Aero Recip is proud to support the project by assembling and testing its engine in its Winnipeg shop. Aero Recip’s Senior Technician Mark Elste offered insight to Danchini and assembled the experimental engine, while Dyno Test Cell Lead Sean Fleming did the testing. “We established some pretty powerful horsepower ratings,” says Fleming. “We’re excited to see who wins the raffle. They’ve got a good one.”

“It’s great to be part of this year’s Alaska Airmen’s Raffle Plane,” adds Tracey Gregorash, Aero Recip General Manager. “Danchini built a really cool plane and Alaska Airmen’s mission is really important to us. This also marks twenty-five years that we’ve had a presence in Alaska. We recently completed another training session in Anchorage. There were great crowds each day. A lot of knowledge was shared, which has enhanced by our guest speakers. And as a bonus, everyone got to take home a gasket poster. All of these events, including the draw for Danchini’s Raffle Plane, are really exciting ways to celebrate all the relationships we’ve built.”
